Assistant Manager/Manager - Sales - Hotel (3-7 yrs)
Job Description
- Responsible for Travel Trade segment in Mumbai on a PAN India basis.
- Manage relationships with customers across Management Levels.
- Research & explore new areas where the products & services of the company can be launched.
- Development of a strategic account plan to develop region wise promotional schemes to attract more customers.
- Research competitors sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and increase market share for all Pan India hotels.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sale, retain business and generate business.
- Analyse and report on regular customer activity, business trends, and areas of concern.
- Serve as the sales liaison with market sales/cluster sales, event management, revenue management, regional marketing communications and other property departments as appropriate.
- Will be responsible for generating the business leads for the company via Cold calls, reference calls, sharing presentation to the corporate and responsible for sales conversion (Corporate / FIT/MICE/Group movements)
- Attending to all appointments & Giving appropriate product presentations & converting them into - Meet the defined targets from time to time
- Ensure smooth function of queries in coordination with Operations & contracting team.
- Visit potential customers for new business
- Provide customers with quotations
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
- Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
- Represent your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
- Identify new markets and business opportunities
- Record sales and send copies to the sales office
- Review your own sales performance
Desired Candidate Profile
Age - Below 35 years
Experience - Atleast 2 to 3 years for Executive and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in any hotel of repute for Sales Manager. Designation of the candidate will depend upon performance in the interview.
Profile Candidates should be smart, target oriented, dynamic and have good communications skills.
