Job Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the Freight industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly within the Freight sector, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. This position requires a high level of motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the Freight industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals to meet client needs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management on a regular basis.
- Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand our network.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the Freight industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of Freight logistics, operations, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Local candidates residing in Pune or Mumbai with a maximum notice period of 30 days.
