Assistant Manager/Manager - Government Relation/Sales - IT (8-9 yrs)

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree | MBA preferred
- Experience of business development of ITeS products for government clients (state govt/PSU/BANKS/ through cold calling)
- 8 years of total experience, with atleast 5 years working in a similar role
- Work experience in AP government is a must
- Local language Telugu is must
- Willing to work in high paced and result-oriented environment
- Ability to drive target achievement to enhance revenue for the practice.
- Location: Vijaywada
Responsibilities :
- Achieve sales target defined and ensure collection within the scheduled timelines to meet defined revenue targets
- Maintain strong relationship with key decision makers in govt. bodies and system integrators to ensure penetration into accounts
- Ensure proactive pre-RFP engagements on projects with government stakeholders
- Understand buying process cycle within government bodies and seek new business development opportunities
- Act on new and emerging opportunities and actively research for potential clients
- Collaborate with Technology, Products and Marketing teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of the solutions according to client needs and objectives
- Keep track of competitor's activities to provide valuable inputs for product/service improvement
- Maintain relationships for ongoing engagements for driving growth in target sectors and advocate for Protean as a strategic partner
- Support the bidding team in submission of responses to RFPs from zonal government bodies (central and state governments)
Must Have :
- Who have good exposure of IT Solutions in AP region.
Please prioritize the profile from consulting firms ex: KPMG,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, E&Y.
- Profiles that are relevant to IT solutions government sales and have a strong understanding of IT government sales.
- Specify names of the govt agencies candidate worked for.
