Business Development Manager/Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Manager- Agency Channel Sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and Onboarding: Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new agents or partners to expand the sales network.
- Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development programs to equip agents with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Motivation and Performance Management: Motivating and coaching agents to achieve sales targets, providing feedback, and managing their performance.
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth through the agency channel.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing agents and partners.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintaining clear communication with agents and partners, and providing regular reports on sales performance.
- Market Knowledge: Understanding the local market and providing insights to the strategic planning process.
- Sales Goal Achievement: Delivering on assigned sales goals and quotas.
- Daily Management: Daily management of the sales channel.
- Negotiation: Effectively communicating and negotiating sales contracts with customers.
- Customer Profiling: Profiling the customer base and developing a process for pre-qualifying potential customers.
- Compliance: Ensuring partner compliance with partner agreements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with and motivate agents and partners.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in an agency or channel sales environment.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead, coach, and manage a team of agents or partners.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage a sales territory or channel.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise in the sales process.
- Understanding of Sales Channels: Knowledge of different sales channels and how to effectively manage them.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate sales contracts and agreements.
- Ability to Influence: Ability to influence and persuade sales partners to sell services.
- Strong Organization Skills: Strong organization skills including planning and prioritization.
