Assistant Manager/Executive - Business Development - Horeca (4-14 yrs)
Name of the position: Assistant Business Development Manager - Ho.Re.CA
Reporting to: Business Development Manager
Area: Pune / Cochin / Mumbai (all three are different positions)
Purpose of the role -
- Develop, maintain, and improve Ho.Re.Ca business portfolio to optimize sales and revenue generation and maximize profitability.
- To create in mind of customers, market, and business community a positive brand image
- Description of Ho.Re.Ca & as and On Trade Channels -
- All 4 & 5- Hotels- restaurant, bars, pool bars, mini bars, banquets
- All Fine Dining Restaurants, Quick service Restaurants-chains & local, Coffee shops, Bars, Mocktail bars, Caterers, banquet halls, Bartending Companies, food & beverage consultants, stall alone bartenders etc.
ROLE DIMENSIONS
- The primary responsibility is customer acquisition and retention through engagement.
- Meeting Chefs in HORECA to present the product for introducing our products.
- Meeting with F & B Managers/Bar Manager/Bartenders/Baristas and Purchase to present the product for beverage brands for introducing our products.
- Organize tasting sessions in all of the above outlet's collaboration with brand manager and close the sales post the sessions.
- Meeting with Purchase department to follow up on product introduction and generating orders.
- Achieve / exceed defined brand-wise sales targets.
Distributor Management:
- To ensure that the distributors maintain adequate inventory (30 days) at his stock point
- To ensure that the distributor focuses on range selling.
- Creating new distributors based on business needs.
- Relationship Building & Co-ordination with existing distributors.
- Managing the commercial control on distributors (receivables & timely submission of claims etc.)
CANDIDATE SKILLS
- Shows strong sales acumen
- Must be goal-oriented
- Passionate, driven and with high energy levels, positive attitude
- Must be willing to learn and adapt quickly
- Experience in handling distributors preferred
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience 4-5 years preferably in sales by handling distribution network
- Strong knowledge of FMCG / Imported Brands market.
- Understanding and in-depth experience of having worked with same industry
- Must have an Android Phone
- The candidate needs to be mobile with two-wheeler or four-wheeler
