Assistant Manager - Corporate Sales - Media (3-10 yrs)
Job Overview:
- The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for driving and managing corporate sales within the Mumbai territory, primarily focusing on business clients, corporate accounts, and group bookings.
- This role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating long-term relationships, and achieving revenue targets to increase footfalls and services for corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate sector, including small, medium, and large-sized enterprises.
- Proactively target potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Account Management:
- Manage existing corporate accounts and relationships, ensuring repeatbusiness.
- Serve as the main point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and packages with clients to maximize unit revenue while maintaining competitive positioning.
Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement corporate sales strategies in alignment with unit revenue goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional offers and packages targeted at corporate clients.
- Conduct sales presentations and facility tours to prospective clients.
- Market Research & Reporting:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and potential business leads.
- Provide insight on market demands and competitor strategies.
- Achieving Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed corporate sales targets and KPIs, driving revenue and profitability for the Unit.
- Track individual performance and progress toward achieving annual and quarterly/Monthly sales goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in sales or business development within the hospitality/ Entertainment or related industries.
- Strong background in corporate sales, particularly with entertainment, hotels, or event spaces.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking abilities and the capability to build relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
- Knowledge of the entertainment / hospitality industry, including services and event hosting.
