Assistant Manager - Content Writing - Digital Marketing Agency (5-10 yrs)
We- re looking for a word-happy writer to join our team. We consider content to be a powerful and essential part of our journey. You will work collaboratively across teams to tell consistent stories and craft great customer experiences.
You Will:
- Write witty, interesting, smart headlines & social media captions for social channels like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
- Brainstorm creative concepts for social media
- Actively contribute to content for brand & social media communication, product communication and marketing, including both short and long form content
- Work with the design & marketing teams to write crisp, well articulated content
- Cultivate an understanding of the brand and its customers
- Be entrusted with churning out ideas and copy across multiple channels - push notifications, emailers, press ads, web banners, and other digital assets
- Content creation right from the initial brainstorming to the final publication
- Publishing content on our internal and platform like campaign pages, product and offer pages, blogs, social posts etc.
- Iterate, iterate, iterate
You have :
- 5+ years of relevant work experience at a branding agency/ digital marketing agency/ product company
- Strong writing skills and the ability to produce excellent copy across formats (blog post, social media, presentation, updates etc.
- Solid understanding of social media channels. Strong copy writing and editing skills suitable for each platform
- Professional writing experience in a writing/editing role
- An excellent online portfolio or links to what you- ve done
- Experience of working with analytical tools and platforms to create reports
- A degree in writing journalism, English, communications or related field (A Master's degree is a plus)
