Assistant Manager - Branding - Salon Division - Cosmetic Brand (4-10 yrs)
We are currently hiring for a leading Cosmetic Brand for the position of Ass. Manager- Brand (Salon Division) for Ghitorni location -
Job purpose/mandate -
1) Brand Mapping / Conceptual Mapping to understand the current market scenario and highlight future need gaps in the Professional marketplace.
2) Brand planning: consumer research and market research for better understanding of the brand dynamics, consumer needs and market opportunities.
3) Business planning: mapping business needs to the development of new brand/s, brand extensions etc.
4) Brand Development: conceptualizing and developing the brand strategy (ethos, imagery, brand values and purpose of being, brand architecture, visual & communication strategy, selling model, competitive strategy and differentiation)
5) Product planning: conceptualizing the product strategy, tangible and intangible attributes, packaging design, pricing, promotion, distribution etc.
6) External co-ordination: co-ordination with external agencies (creative, media, PR etc) for implementing the Brand Strategy
7) Implementation of Brand & Marketing strategy at above the line and below the line levels with specific focus on point of sales.
8) Conceptualize and execute consumer marketing activities to build the brand and support its strategic direction.
9) Ensuring and monitoring the short & long term financial objectives of new brands, brand extensions etc.
Specific duties and responsibilities :
- Assist Brand Manager in coordinating and executing company brand promotion activities.
- Identify innovative business building ideas to increase business prospects.
- Assist in developing promotional strategies for brand awareness and profitability.
- Provide assistance in developing brand positioning and communication strategies.
- Manage consumer and trade promotional activities and marketing events.
- Manage cross-functional teams to execute projects within assigned timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with Market Research team to identify consumer trends and needs.
- Work with Research and Development (R&D) team and technical application team to convert innovative business ideas into saleable products.
- Provide necessary assistance to Marketing Manager in all activities pertaining to brand building.
- Trackarketing parameters such as pricing, distribution, and POS to assist in better positioning and brand optimization of company products.
- Analyze competitor performance and market trends to provide recommendations for brand development
