JOB DESCRIPTION -
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers for solar pump systems within your designated area.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.
Project Management:
- Manage the full lifecycle of solar pump projects, from initial sales to installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with installation teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Manage project budgets and timelines.
Technical Expertise:
- Possess a strong understanding of solar pump systems, including their components, operation, and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise.
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of field technicians, sales representatives, or other personnel.
- Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities and project progress.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services.
Profile:
- Liaison with nodal and government agencies for registration, approvals and bidding in tenders.
- Monitoring with Nodal agencies and coordination with dealers/channel partners to ensure timely verification of installed sets and consequently to ensure timely collection.
- Direct sales of the company products among leading contractors, industrial segments and institutions
- Selection and appointment of dealers and channel partners for marketing, installing and providing support and service to the farmers/end users of the solar pumping systems. Managing and monitoring them continually so as the achieve our revenue and other goals.
- Training of channel partners in site assessment, product selection, proper installation, handover and routine maintenance.
- Carrying out audits on installed sites and materials used to verify the quality and compliance with the prescribed standards.
- Carrying out market development and brand promotion activities through road shows, melas, get-togethers, demonstrations, etc.
- Direct marketing of company's products and spares through the channel partners
- Coordination and monitoring of the installation of our products/systems through our channel partners.
- Collecting market information about competitors which aids our selling efforts.
- Keep a check on inventory and spares and organize logistics for the same whenever required as well as ensure that our products at our or our channel partner's warehouses are properly kept and stock is verified periodically.
