Job Title : Club General Manager (CGM)

Department : Club Management
A : Manage, train, motivate and control the sales team to deliver club specific sales targets
1. Maintain an effective membership consultant team
2. Ensure effective training occurs in your club
3. Manage individual performance of membership consultants to achieve personal and club results
4. Perform administration and management functions in line with daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.
B : Manage financial aspects of the business unit
1. Formulate annual budget to attain / achieve a profit margin according to approved budgetary requirements
2. Control income against budget
3. Control expenses against budget
4. Manage risk
C : Manage human resources to achieve company objectives
1. Ensure effective and efficient communication
2. Administer policies, procedures and systems
3. Recruit competent staff
4. Train Staff
5. Conduct industrial relations procedures
6. Foster staff motivation
7. Conduct performance management systems
8. Compliance with relevant legislation and industry bodies
D : Maintain quality facilities and equipment
1. Manage effective maintenance procedures
2. Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained
3. Establish effective service agreements with suppliers
E : Deliver superior member service
1. Implement and foster a high standards of service
2. Address member complaints
3. Manage by walking around (Mbwa)
4. Ensure effective and efficient communication
5. Improve member retention ratio
