Assistant Content Manager - Content Writing - eCommerce (2-4 yrs)
About the job :
- We are looking for a driven Assistant Content Manager to join our exciting, fast-growing e-commerce store.
- You will create, manage and improve content for various marketing channels. You will work on assets that create sales conversions on our online store, email marketing and social media campaigns and will analyze the performance of those assets in detail, crunch the numbers, and optimize them.
- Our ideal candidate is a driven professional with demonstrable creative writing skills and also has a knack for logical problem solving. You should have a willingness to broaden your expertise, and go the extra mile. As a content manager for a fast-paced e-commerce, you should be tech-savvy, a critical thinker and problem-solver, and demonstrate a passion for growth and success.
- Ultimately, you should be able to assist in overseeing all marketing content to ensure sales conversions, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities :
- Do market & audience research to understand our customers, their wants & needs
- Work alongside copywriters, UI/UX designers, graphic designers, and team members from other departments to create and deliver assets
- Manage content distribution to online channels, social media platforms and marketplaces.
- Coordinate and work with freelancers and agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing collateral and assets.
- Research, strategize and create content relevant to our target audience: landing pages, product promotions, info articles, emailers, blurbs for inserts and offline placements, and more
- Proofread, edit and improve content created by copywriters and ensure brand consistency
- Develop a thorough understanding of conversion optimization (training will be given in-house) and apply across our brands, platforms and channels
- Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
Requirements :
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative
- Hands on experience with MS Office, particularly Excel
- Preferably MBA graduates
- Impeccable English, good communication skills, a humble and cooperative attitude and lots of hard work are the other expectations of the firm.
