JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THIS ROLE :
Primary Skills :
- Category Manager, Merchandising Manager, FMCG, Food or Health & personal care (MUST)
- 4- 6 years of Experience in Category Management - Food or HPC
- Good knowledge of excel and powerpoints
- eCommerce- product listing, promotion, and addition of new brands
- Planogram and space planning
- Reducing aging inventory and expiry products
- Vendor Management
Key Deliverables :
Job Purpose :
- To contribute and deliver the buying plan of the department, for the agreed product range catering to our diverse range of business customers and secure savings to maximize profit.
Responsibilities and Duties :
1. Execute delivery plan/revenue generation plan on the respective area.
2. Replenishment & purchase order management.
3. Identify new sources of supply and assess their suitability to business.
4. Create buying plans detailing range, price, and suppliers
5. Meet with internal stakeholders to understand the buying plan
6. Review competitive offering in the relevant area
7. Review stock levels daily / weekly and create an action plan to resolve issues
8. Negotiate and continually assess existing suppliers to optimize performance and improve terms to reduce prices.
9. Regional promotions & brand additions.
Must Haves :
- 4- 6 years of Experience in Category Management
