Assistant Category Manager - Food & FMCG (2-5 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Communicate Food & FMCG category strategy, objectives and performance targets with marketing leadership and ensure overall alignment.
- Develop and maintain marketing marketplace knowledge; identify and monitor trends.
- Develop collaborative relationships with the marketing team, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Prioritize and manage all strategic sourcing initiatives for category & coordinate efforts with support functions.
- Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and collaborative seller sourcing decisions.
- Liaise with business units to gather and standardize requirements.
- Develop market intelligence on supply base, support key vendor relationships based on assigned categories and monitor key strategies and vendors.
- SEO and organic user acquisition.
- Drive marketing and sales plans.
Ready the Team - Ensure readiness across segment and partner teams.
Tell the Product and Profitability Story - Land local product and category stories with partners including pitch decks and readiness meetings so they are leading sale in aligned to Company's priorities.
Work with the leadership team to set strategic priorities, align regional and company vision, and share best practices.
Problem Solving: Delve deep into ongoing operations and find long-term structural solutions to problems.
