Assistant Area Manager - Sales - Education (5-6 yrs)
We are looking for a skilled Sales Personnel who will maintain and build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and fulfilling the same by offering our best-in-class course solutions, effective business development ability to grow the company's market share in the region, etc. The incumbent should possess leadership skills to effectively lead the team and contribute to demand and revenue generation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial position in sales with team and revenue responsibility
- Proven track record of sales growth and experience as an Area/Regional Manager in the same or adjacent industry
- Experience in selling products in academic institutions
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building long-term relationships.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Graduation in any discipline
- Working knowledge of the local language/s
- Prepared for daily fieldwork and willing to travel extensively.
Responsibilities
- Prior work experience in the territory and knowledge of institutions/customers in the region.
- Regular analysis of market potential to chart path for growth of business in the region.
- Achieving individual goals and team goals if managing a team.
- Monitoring competitor activities.
- Expand relationships with existing customers to grow the company's share of the business.
- Regular reporting, pipeline building, achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets etc.
- Manage the supply chain and ensure round-the-year availability of our products with the distributors and retailers.
Preferred:
- MBA qualification
- Excellent Presentation skills
- Digital selling skills
