- Responsible for conceptualizing and leading sales training for the organization
- Build and develop Sales Capability, and competency and implement business processes to build a robust sales organization with a focus on developing deeper channel, and customer category understanding and driving excellence in execution
- Lead a team of sales training specialists
- Build a team of sales trainers with sales expertise
- Manage the development of training curriculum; formulate reviewing training outlines and determine appropriate instructional methodologies and formats
- Assess performance gaps, design learning content, conduct pilot programs to validate learning objectives ensure smooth rollouts across business units
- Responsible for the facilitation, content creation, preparation, and enhancement of training outlines, agendas, presentations, and assessments and ensuring that the training curricula are accurate and up to date at all times
- Conduct quality checks via random audits on calls, chats, and emails of the sales team to identify the training needs.
- Work closely with the stakeholders to ensure training needs are identified and met
- Improve sales culture by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available, and integrating support with routine job functions.
- Proactively motivate, coach, and provide feedback.
- What you will need to succeed
- Experience in a prior sales training role is a must
- Experience in handling a team of sales trainers/coaches
