Area Solution Head - Sales - FinTech Solution (5-12 yrs)
Job Purpose
GIB Solution Sales AH is expected to be a Digital Solutioning Product expert whose primary objective is to provide digital payment & collection solutions to existing and NTB customers and thereby offer improved efficiency, cost effectiveness, convenience & ease of operation to the customers which is expected to be resultant in enhanced CASA Value / float.
He/she is expected to build strong partnership & synergy with the GIB channel for effective functioning and delivery by being the :
- First point of contact for any Digital Solution requirements from GIB Channel & RBB
- Facilitate documentation, end to end Implementation and customer Onboarding
- Own & manage the after sales servicing, Xsell / Upsell on segment specific products and services
- Responsible for replicating the success stories across segments in other branches mapped to him
- Participate in joint Scoping of Institutional segments, Government (State/Center) schemes, e- governance projects to priorities acquiring / re activating New & Existing Customer for branches mapped to him.
Job Responsibilities(JR) Actionable :
Business Development GIB - Solution Sales - AH is primarily responsible for driving CASA value / float growth in the GIB segment by working in close coordination with GIB Channel Team in the assigned state.
- AH is primarily responsible to drive key actionable such as:
- Digital Acquisition
- Integration
- Activation
- Driving On-line Volume
- Attrition management
He / she is will have to achieve this objective by offering Digital Payment & Collection Solutions such as white label mobile applications like myApps, payments / collection products:
Smart Hub, PG, POS, QR, UPI, Net Banking, ACH, eCMS & Enet. Solution Sales AH will act as Lead Convertor (LC) for digital products and solutions for leads / opportunities generated by

GIB Channel AH. Solution Sales AH will be a domain expert on various Digital products & Solutions for GIB Business.
New Relationship GIB - SS - AH will have to provide necessary digital solutioning assistance & expertise to GIB Channel for acquiring NTB CASA relationships in GIB segment by the GIB Channel AH.
To achieve the said objective, the GIB - SS - AH provide various digital solutions such as white label mobile applications like myApps, payments / collection products: Smart Hub, PG, POS, QR, UPI, Net Banking, ACH, eCMS & Enet. SS AH will assist GIB Channel AH in providing digital solutions for acquiring state level account/scheme accounts
He / she will have to work very closely with the GIB channel to identify opportunities from the focus segments such as
Education Institution, Trusts, Healthcare, Housing Societies,and Clubs & Govt Bodies.
He / she will have to drive & achieve channel core objectives such as targets on ARN, TID, Integration, Activation, and Volume & Float.
Portfolio and Relationship Management GIB - SS - Area Head will work along with the GIB Channel - AH's on the existing portfolio clientele of GIB segment and engaging those customers for enhanced relationship value by upselling of digital products to increase the wallet share,product holding as well as to ring fence and to ensure retention of such relationships and to keep the competition at bay.
The AH's are expected to follow the below structured approach in achieving the objectives:
i. Understanding their business requirement; and identify the pain areas which requires standard / custom made solutions
ii. Need to translate requirement in the scoping document & share with Central Solution Team (CST)
iii. Preparing & providing the draft solution proposal in coordination with the central solutioning team
iv. Making / Facilitating Initial Solution presentation to the customer
v. Facilitate transition from pre sales to implementation
vi. To facilitate GIB channel on arriving at C/I for the acquisition
Channel Management SS - AH need to actively engage and work in close coordination with GIB Channel - AH to have an impact in the new /prospective & existing clientele in GIB segment by offering digital payment and collection solutions to achieve core objective of incremental CASA float & volumes.
- Solution Sales Area Head together with GIB Channel AH & RBB RM, need to work on marketing drives & visit Institutes as per pre-published calendar for specific segments for eg:
- Education during fee collection, PTMs, Annual Festivals, Clubs various
- Important Events during the year and deploy marketing materials and activate Institutes mapped to him.
- Ensure active monitoring & effective resolution of customer complaints as per the defined TAT and also ensure complaint / escalations are minimum
Business Compliance & Training GIB - SS - AH need to ensure adherence to the risk & compliance guidelines while on-boarding customers onto digital solutions in line with the policies & procedures laid down by the bank.
SS - AH is responsible to impart training on latest solutions to
GIB - AH's / RBB - PB's / RM's & ICRM's on regular intervals
Educational Qualifications Key Skills
- Graduate in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Post-Graduate in Marketing (MBA)
Qualifications in Project Management related assignments.
- High confidence level, ability to manage channel within the bank
- Excellent Oral & Written communication
- Willingness to do end to end sales
- Ability to make cold calls & engage in pre-fixed appointments
- Good planner & organized working method
- To have a flair to develop interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasking with clarity of prioritization
- Sound logical, reasoning & analytical abilities
- Ability to Travel to upcountry locations
- Working understanding of MS Office
Experience Required :
Minimum experience of 3 to 6 years of Sales - Direct and Portfolio management.
- Exposure to direct selling, Sales in corporates or concept selling.
- Managing Relation across senior levels of the Organization.
- Understanding of MS office and systems is a must.
- Exposure in project / Category / product management
- Exposure to manage multiple teams across different functions
