Area Service Manager - Customer Support (5-12 yrs)
The Area Service Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing service operations within an assigned region, ensuring excellent customer service, and meeting organizational service goals. This role is pivotal in enhancing after-sales service, driving service profitability, and building strong relationships with dealers and customers in the 2W (Two-Wheeler) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage service operations across multiple dealerships within the assigned area.
- Ensure that service centers meet performance targets, including customer satisfaction, repair quality, and turnaround time.
- Provide technical guidance and training to service teams to ensure efficient handling of customer queries and vehicle repairs.
- Regularly review and audit service centers to maintain operational standards and compliance with company policies.
- Develop strategies to improve service delivery, customer satisfaction, and retention rates in the assigned area.
- Collaborate with the sales and dealer development teams to identify and resolve service-related issues.
- Monitor key service metrics (e.g., service revenue, warranty claims, etc.) and report performance data to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the service experience and achieve higher profitability.
- Ensure timely resolution of escalated customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the 2-Wheeler industry and service operations.
- Excellent technical expertise in after-sales service processes and dealership operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to guide service teams and dealership staff.
- Customer-oriented approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Analytical skills to assess service performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, dealer management, and technical teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields is preferred.
- 5 to 12 years of experience in after-sales service management, with a strong background in the 2-Wheeler industry.
Location: Hyderabad
Compensation: Up to 12 LPA (based on experience and qualifications)
