Area Service Manager - Automobile (5-10 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Service Manager to oversee and manage service operations across designated areas. The ideal candidate will come from an Automobile or Electric Vehicle (2W) background and will be responsible for ensuring service excellence, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in service centers within their region.

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee service operations across multiple locations within the assigned area to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Manage, train, and support service teams to meet service standards, enhance technical capabilities, and maintain high levels of performance.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all service-related activities.

- Monitor and drive service KPIs, such as turnaround time, customer satisfaction, and service profitability.

- Handle escalated customer complaints and provide solutions to complex service issues.

- Coordinate with other departments such as sales, supply chain, and technical support to ensure seamless service operations.

- Conduct regular audits of service centers and implement corrective actions to address any discrepancies.

- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth service operations.

- Implement and promote preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and increase vehicle lifespan.

- Prepare and present reports on service operations, performance metrics, and key initiatives to management.

Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in service management, preferably in the Automobile or EV (2W) industry.

- Strong technical knowledge of 2-wheeler vehicles and electric vehicles.

- Proven experience in managing service teams, driving KPIs, and improving service standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience handling escalated issues.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Proficiency in service management software and reporting tools.
