Area Sales Officer - Steel/PVC Firm (1-3 yrs)

- Objective: To act as the interface between the distributor and the customer and looks after all the customer issues. His primary responsibilities would be to achieve sales target, provide support to the customer, implement initiatives at the customer level and gather competitive intelligence data.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sales & Planning :
1. Meeting Monthly Sales Target
2. To follow PJPs
3. Monitor and have targets for Market Outstanding
- Marketing :
1. Pricing Communication
a. Formally communicate the pricing to customers
b. Provide market update to Distributor
- Deployment of product promotion activities as per plan
- Coordination with PAG/CAM for new product/grades development
- New Customer Acquisition
- Customer Service :
1. Demand Forecasting
- Understand customer and industry specific end application grade/SKU-wise requirements
- Develop annual and monthly volume targets at customer level
- Order fulfilment through coordination with back end stuff
- Track order status
- Ensure timely delivery(through EPA/service centre)
2. Order Generation
- Convert customer requirement to orders
- Log orders with the distributor organization
3. Customer Complaint Management
- Receive and attend to customer complaints
- Coordinate with PAG persons and log complaints
- Coordinate with EPA/Service Centre for CAPA
- Ensure closure and communication of complaint resolution to customers
4. Account Reconciliation(with support from accounts)
- Provide support to collection staff(customer-wise outstanding)
- Provide support to accounts for reconciliation
- Get monthly/quarterly sign-off from customers
Preferable Requirements:
- Experience in sheet metal selling or consumer industry(sales or operations)
- Prior experience in managing people
