Area Sales Officer - BFSI (1-2 yrs)
Summary :
The Area Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales agents, and overseeing the sales performance within a designated geographic area. This role involves executing strategies to increase market penetration, build relationships with clients, and ensure the achievement of revenue targets in the insurance sector.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and recruit new agents to build and expand the agency network.
- Develop relationships with new and existing agents, providing support and resources to enhance performance.
- Drive the overall sales performance and growth of the agency channel by setting and achieving targets.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate agents on product offerings, sales techniques, and compliance requirements.
- Continuously evaluate the training needs of agents and arrange for necessary development programs.
- Assist in onboarding new agents and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
- Monitor and evaluate the sales performance of individual agents and agencies.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for agents, ensuring they are motivated and incentivized to achieve them.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure agents meet performance expectations and maintain high sales standards.
Skills :
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of experience in sales
- 21-38 age
- Local preferable
