Job Summary :

Dynamic and Driven sales professional to spearhead our Wood Coating business in Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate will have experience in the wood coating industry and be responsible for driving sales, building strong relationship with clients, and achieving the company's growth objective. The ASM will focus on promoting the company's wood coating products to large enterprises in the furniture and wood industries, interior design firms and to build a team in sales for Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales Target Achievement :

a. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for wood coatings.

b. Track and monitor project pipelines and ensure timely order conversion.

2. Client Acquisition and Management :

a. Identify, develop, and manage a network of clients including manufacturers of furniture's, wooden cottages, doors, interior designers, etc.

b. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers to drive repeat business.

3. Project Management :

a. Engage with project stakeholders to understand their specific needs and offer customized wood coating solutions.

b. Monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.

4. Market Research and Analysis :

a. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the decorative paint sector.

b. Provide regular feedback on competitor activities, market developments, and client preferences to the marketing team.

5. Reporting and Documentation :

a. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details.

b. Submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to the regional sales manager.

6. Collaboration :

a. Work closely with the technical team to provide product demonstrations and ensure smooth implementation at project sites.

b. Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.

7. Key Requirements :

a. Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

8. Experience :

a. 3-6 years of experience in wood coating segment.

b. Proven track record of handling wood coating sales in Tamil Nadu


9. Skills :

a. Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills.

b. Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.

c. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

d. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

e. Flexibility : Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and organizational goals.

f. Learning Agility : Continuously learning and adapting new skills, knowledge, and technologies relevant to the industry.

10. Language :

a. Fluency in English and Tamil (both written and spoken).

11.Other Requirements :

a. Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu to meet clients and visit project sites.

b. A valid driving license.

c. Integrity : Upholding high ethical standards and integrity in all sales activities.
