Area Sales Manager - watch (8-11 yrs)
BNC is hiring for a leading fashion and luxury watch distributor
Position : Area Sales Manager
- Sales development in the India market, with defined sales target to achieve, in managing the current portfolio of customers and actively finding new ones.
- Manage the point of sales through assortment, visual merchandising, training and motivation of showroom sales staff and related tasks.
- Monitor operational marketing, including media, coop advertising and public relations activities in coordination with our marketing department.
- Line management of one Regional sales executive with the aim to empower and develop them and to strengthen their hunger to learn.
- Manage new product introductions (e.g. local launch activities, staff training)
- Manage forecast, payment cycle and inventory planning on quarterly and annual basis.
- Ensure ongoing reporting and analysis of sellout.
- Active monitoring of operational marketing, including media, advertising and public relations activities in close coordination with marketing department.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- 8+ years of experience in sales
- Commercial education (equivalent MBA)
- 5-6 years experiences in the watch industry or luxury goods industry
- Ability to work independently.
- Results oriented.
- Analytical approach.
- Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP would be a plus).
- Good negotiation skills and motivation for Sales
- Willingness to travel in India (50%)
