Area Sales Manager - Security & Fire Systems (5-18 yrs)
Role: Sr Area Sales Manager
- Reports to: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
- Location: Punjab, Bangalore, Mumbai
- Function: Sales
- Travel requirement: Extensive (~2 weeks every month)
Key Responsibilities :
- Build the distribution & dealer network
- Identify, engage and manage local/regional system integrators
- Train own sales and channel sales on how to sell the offering
- Plan reach expansion, new cities, new distributer additions
- Manage distributers and retailer's performance including stock planning, rotation, expansion
- Align sales with marketing to actively manage the product portfolio and "Make Market" initiatives
- Keep a close eye on the competition and develop winning sales strategies/tactics
- Recruit and manage high performance sales team & promoters
- Deliver revenue, margin and consistent growth as per targets
- Monthly demand planning and implement robust forecasting processes
- Sales discipline, record meetings, sales pipeline, etc
- Manage and strengthen relationships with sales channels (System Integrators and Distributors) to drive sales growth, proactively resolve conflicts if any
- Define the sales & marketing strategy to launch and scale new products
Qualifications & Experience :
- Electronics, Computer Science or IT Engineering degree preferred
- Min 5 years of sales experience in Security (CCTV, Biometrics, VDP, etc) and Fire systems
- Distribution or channel sales experience; Should have managed distributer and retailer network
- Strong connect with local/regional system integrators
- Should have lead team of young, inexperienced front-line sales members
- Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
