The company produces excellent quality writing and printing paper, and they are the leading manufacturer of tissue and board, as well as Rayon Grade Pulp (RGP) products. They have the largest single location manufacturing facility in India with an estimated revenue of $24.1 million. Our client continues to be the committed employer of the local community and has achieved many international standards like OHSAS and FSC as a leading producer of pulp and paper.
As the Area Sales Manager-Retail (Paper-Copier), you will be developing sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed the annual sales objectives for the company.
What you will do:
- Generating sales of company products in the region through a team of salesmen in order to achieve or exceed the annual sales targets
- Monitoring and controlling the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region
- Conducting regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new - opportunities in order to increase sales in the region
- Providing distributors and customers in the region with information about new or improved products and services in order to improve sales in the region
- Developing and maintaining an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of the company's products and services across the region to achieve or exceed the sales targets
- Establishing and ensuring that all sales administration procedures relating to the region are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets
- Coordinating and following up with the manufacturing team & distributors to ensure that adequate inventory stock of the product is maintained for the Region in order to meet the sales delivery schedules
- Providing the distributors with superior levels of service and meeting the needs of the customer
- Liaising with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region
- Providing leadership so that staff are well motivated and engaged to stay and contribute effectively to the organization
Candidate Profile :
What you need to know/have :
- MBA candidates with prior experience in the retail market in FMCG
- Demonstrable experience of 6-8 years in selling copier will be preferred
- Male Candidates preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible for extensive travelling
