Area Sales Manager - Retail Sales - Abrasive (8-10 yrs)
OVERVIEW OF FUNCTION/BUSINESS
The Abrasives Marketing Group (AMG) comprises the Sales & Marketing Team for Abrasives. This position is for mainly retail sales through chanel for both Industrial Sales Vertical and F & D Vertical of AMG, Business is driven through mainly a through channel sales.
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
"Overall Responsibility To develop a clearly laid out, execeutive strategy for abrasives sales growth . Channel management of both Industrial Retail and decorative channels.Work closely with PMG, Marketing to introduce new products, enter New markets and increase the penetration / reach of Abrasives products portfolio . Develop strong distribution for the region Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets for the region / territory and to deliver sustainable growth in sales. Organising & supervising promotional activity & supervise. Sales Management:
- TOD and VLGS schemes should be initiated in portal..
- Promotional Scheme targets to be communicated..
- Price increase communication to dealers and customers should be sent.
Conduct Monthly Review Meeting:
- Branch/Area Sales and Receivables review should be driven by the respective BMs/ASMs.
- Review of market potential sheets on a quarterly basis. Development sheet submitted by BDE/ASI should be used as a reference for conf. call reviews with SOAs.
- Review of Pending C forms and branch costs
Special Discounts:
- MTS roll over discounts to be organized between BM and PM for a 6 to 12 months period (BDE/ASI to have no role in roll over disc).
- Discussion with team members on case to case basis
Dealers and Retailer Visit:
- Visits for development review, price increase discussions, seminars, senior management meeting
Price Increase Implementation:
- Communication to dealers and customers. Monthly review with team on implementation.
Strategic Decision:
- Should play strategic role in coordination with PMG for product positioning and price increase decisions.
- Provide strategic information on competition actions."
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Btech / BSC / Diploma EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION MBA
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXP 08 to 10 Years
