Area Sales Manager - Retail (6-12 yrs)
ROLE OBJECTIVE :
- To demonstrate effective stores & Sis management leading to good customer service & selling skills for the organization of the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sales Management
- Planning Staff wise, category wise, Target per Region
- Ensure achievement of sales target across region
- Driving category wise contributions
- Analysing & Reporting
- Ensure adherence of store KPIs across region
Store Operations
- Effective implementation of Brand SOP & guidelines
- Conducting regular monthly smart Audit
- Driving SM/TL reporting calendar
- Ensure timely repairs and maintenance across regions.
- Responsible for adherence of all statutory Compliances of the stores across regions like Trade license, Shops and establishments etc.
- Liasoning with mall Management on issues & Support.
Business Development :
- Lead generation in Franchise development in EBO & Large MBO formats for BD.
- Identifying white spots for EBO expansion & coordination with local developers and agents
- Doing market mapping & recce of proposed sites.
Inventory management :
- Inter store transfer of Inventory pre and post EOSS.
- Responsible for shrinkage Control- Global Count
- Ensure timely external and internal audits
- Managing inventory week cove & Inventory turns
- Review & develop best strategies w.r.t promotions & schemes in order to achieve organizational goal.
Visual Merchandising :
- Implementation of Planogram.
- Ensure VM ppt is set weekly.
Projects :
- Provide guidance to projects in establishing & deploying service level agreements with various vendors to ensure quality & completion of projects as per the timeline.
- Ensure timely maintenance & renovation across stores.
People Management :
- Hiring & selection of employees.
- Comprehensive people management responsibilities, in terms of handling performance appraisal of subordinates, recruitments, attrition control, employee morals, employee engagement, happy time policy & business development plan, reward & recognition to ensure retention of best talent.
Financial Management :
- Track spends on trade promotions & BTL activities and put in place processes for measurement of spends effectiveness.
- Build operational budgets
Customer Satisfaction :
- Develop a framework to capture customer feedback & ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
- Develop effective mechanism for effective CRM & monitor effectiveness of the same.
4. TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Level of Education :
MBA/Equivalent/Pursuing Post Graduation
Experience :
- 6-8 yrs. In retail management
