Area Sales Manager/Regional Sales Manager - Automotive Sector (4-12 yrs)

One of our clients (from the automotive sector) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dealer development and management within their assigned region. The candidate should have 4-9/17 years of relevant experience in sales and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities :

1. Dealer Development :

- Identify and onboard new dealers within the assigned area.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers.

- Conduct regular market assessments to identify potential dealerships.

2. Sales Strategy :

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities.

3. Market Analysis :

- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.

- Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions and customer needs.

- Identify opportunities for product and service improvements.

4. Customer Relationship Management :

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and influencers.

- Address customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to foster repeat business.

5. Sales Reporting :

- Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management team.

- Provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and challenges.

- Develop action plans to address any gaps in performance.
