Area Sales Manager - Modern Trade - FMCG (3-7 yrs)
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Modern Trade (Sales) to oversee and expand our modern trade channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail landscape, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset to drive sales growth and enhance our brand presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement effective strategies for modern trade channels to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
- Account Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, including supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores.
- Sales Management : Drive sales performance through effective negotiation, promotions, and merchandising strategies. Monitor sales trends and adjust plans accordingly.
- Inventory Management : Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability across all modern trade channels.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities. Provide actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Promotional Activities : Plan and execute promotional campaigns and in-store activities to boost brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate the modern trade sales team to achieve individual and team goals. Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Compliance : Ensure all activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Reporting : Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and key metrics for senior management.
