Area Sales Manager - Laminate (5-8 yrs)
Area Sales Manager - laminate industry
Location: South India (situated at Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai) or East India (situated at Kolkata or other)
Experience: 5 - 8 years
Roles & Responsibilities -
1. Appoint distributors in the territories where the brand is currently not present
2. Carry out a market recce, meeting retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders such as salesman, carpenters, etc. to project the market potential and provide other relevant information to the management for better decision making
3. Identify potential distributors for the company and carry out required follow-ups/ meetings to convert the lead
5. Bridge the gap between the requirements of the market and the offerings of the company so as to capture more territories
6. Represent the company at exhibitions, dealer meets, etc.
7. Prepare all market reports as desired by the company
8. Please note that this role DOES NOT have any after appointment sales work. The BD
the manager is required to move on from the territory once the distributor is appointed
Experience -
1. 5-6 yrs of experience as a Business Development Manager in laminate industry, preferably in a mid-segment brand
2. Be comfortable with managing manual reports and planning
3. Be comfortable with written English
