Area Sales Manager - Hotels (3-5 yrs)
Role and responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the sales operations of multiple hotels within a specific geographic region
- Be the owner & P&L responsible for the specific area, markets & properties assigned to ASM
- Drive revenue growth both with the hotels and the accounts
- Build relationships with key stakeholders:
- Build relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners. This will involve networking, attending industry events, and maintaining regular communication to ensure that the hotels are top of mind for potential customers. This will help to increase occupancy rates and overall revenue for the hotels
- Developing & maintaining prospect & customer list based on strategic marketing data & other sources for sales leads.
- Engaging in local branches of nationwide organizations, trade conferences, nurturing industry relationships & closing possible opportunities.
- Travel to cover the entire geographical expanse and meet clients across the region that enable to drive revenue
- Ensure customer satisfaction by working along with Ops, quality, customer service, to address any customer concerns or issues
- Client Acquisition and corporate relations with companies.
- Active in liaison relationship within industry
- Engage & retain clients with immediate escalation facilitation, regular visits & value delivery.
- Leading in legal liaison, contracting & payment agreement with clients.
- Undertaking competitor analysis.
- Understand the key competitors in the area
- Develop strategy to be on top of the customer's mind & increase SOW
- Develop and implement sales strategies:
- You will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies that align with the objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, developing sales plans, and ensuring that sales targets are met.
- Designing tailor made business proposals, prospect engagement & meeting possible opportunities with available product lines.
- Analyze sales data :
- Use it to build your sales plan as per the seasonality/ demand. This will involve tracking sales performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve sales outcomes.
- Tracking the credit policy & ensuring collections
