Area Sales Manager - Horeca Channel - FMCG (4-9 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
Horeca Sales Management:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase product penetration within the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the HoReCa channel, ensuring consistent product availability and brand visibility.
Territory Management:
- Oversee and manage sales operations within the assigned territory (Delhi), ensuring the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
- Identify and exploit new sales opportunities within the region, focusing on expanding the customer base in the HoReCa and institutional sectors.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Modern Trade & Institutional Sales:
- Drive sales through modern trade channels and institutional sales, negotiating terms of trade and ensuring product placement in key outlets.
- Collaborate with modern trade partners and institutions to plan and execute promotional activities and campaigns that drive sales.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Monitor and review the team's performance regularly, setting clear objectives and KPIs to drive success.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including analysis of sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Use data and insights to refine sales strategies, optimize resource allocation, and improve overall sales effectiveness.
Budget Management:
- Manage sales budgets within the assigned territory, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Monitor spending and ensure that all sales activities are cost-effective and aligned with the company's financial goals.
Brand Promotion:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand promotion and product positioning align with sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows, events, and other promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
