Area Sales Manager - General Trade - FMCG (5-7 yrs)
- Assist Zonal Sales Manager in preparing the Area sales plan.
- Develop &Maintain relationship with appointed super stockists and direct distributors.
- Market products and offers to super stockists and direct distributors
- Ensure proper implementation of sales administration procedures in the area.
- Monitor target achievement of the sales executives and motivate them to achieve/ exceed sales targets
- Confirm with accounts team on payment received from super stockists/ direct distributors before placing the order for stock.
- Place orders of super stockists/ direct distributors with Production and Logistics team and indicate delivery priority to Logistics team
- Coordinate with the Logistics team and provide necessary road permits for timely delivery of stock
- Review stock dispatch and loading plan and flag off mismatches if any, before the dispatch.
- Escalate delay in delivery/ mismatch in stock ordered vs dispatched to Zonal Manager.
- Confirm receipt of stock by super stockists/ direct distributors and
- Followupwith super stockists for C-Forms and forward C-forms received from super stockists to Accounts.
- Analyze sales trends in the area and make necessary changes to the sales strategies in consultation with the Zonal Manager.
- Monitor competitor activities and keep abreast of market trends.
- Prepare/ submit periodic area sales reports to Head-Sales
