Area Sales Manager - FMCG/FMCD (5-10 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the FMCG, FMCD, or retail sectors, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth within the designated area.

- Manage and lead a sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure high performance.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.

- Oversee the execution of sales plans and promotional activities to maximize market penetration and sales opportunities.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.

- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven decisions.

- Ensure effective implementation of company policies and procedures in sales operations.

- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and team activities.

- Resolve any issues or challenges faced by the sales team and implement solutions to improve performance.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably in FMCG, FMCD, or retail industries.

- Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
