Area Sales Manager - FMCG (9-12 yrs)
We are looking for a results-driven Area Manager- Sales to manage and grow the distribution functions based out at multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Min 5 years- experience into Frontline management experience (Sales officer/Senior Sales officer) in reputed FMCG companies.
- He should have worked as Area Sales Manager for min of 5 years with reputed FMCG companies handling entire base location.
- Should comprehensively understand base location general trade business.
- The position demands comprehensive understanding of General trade and Modern trade markets.
- The candidate should have personally been involved in regular market works with complete understanding of placement of products and merchandising and inventory management.
- Recruiting, Training & Managing a Sales team of 5-7 SO's
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
- Develop and manage an efficient distribution network to improve sales performance.
- Manage the sales team for sales growth and revenue enhancement.
- Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
- Provide innovative ideas and suggestions to improve the market presence.
- Maintain relationship with existing customers for repeat business.
- Build sales culture and sale centric atmosphere among the team members.
- Provide timely feedback to the sales personnel regarding their sales performance.
- Provide trainings, educational workshops and challenging opportunities for enhancing career growth of employees.
- Conduct business plan review meetings with sales team.
- Develop creative promotional strategies to attract more customers.
- Develop performance improvement plan for sales team to meet performance goals.
Other Requirements:
- MBA from a reputed Institute.
- Good Leadership, Negotiation & Communication Skills
