Area Sales Manager - FMCG (6-12 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Identify and onboard new distributors, retailers, and stockists.
- Expand market share by increasing numeric and weighted distribution.
- Implement promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and boost sales.
2. Channel & Distributor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners.
- Ensure proper stock availability and replenishment at all distributor points.
- Monitor distributor ROI and profitability, ensuring smooth operations.
3. Market Analysis & Strategy Execution
- Conduct competitor analysis and suggest effective sales strategies.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the assigned region to maximize sales.
- Provide insights on customer preferences, pricing trends, and demand forecasting.
4. Team Management & Training
- Lead and guide a team of Sales Officers/Executives.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve team productivity and efficiency.
- Motivate and monitor team performance through KPIs and sales metrics.
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing strategies, and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to streamline deliveries and inventory management.
