Region to handle- Entire Tamil Nadu
Reporting to - Sales Director
Experience - Min 5 Years ( Preferred experience in working in flavour industry or food ingredient industry)
Broader Role / Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop good relationship with customers through personal contact or meetings or via telephone etc.
- Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's products (b2b sales)
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your area and Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
- Give Technical supports/Demos wherever required
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market-Distribution Channel, Key Customers, etc
- Recruiting and training sales staff
- Allocating areas/Distributors to sales representatives
- Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets and reviewing their targets and aim at exceeding their targets
- Compiling and analysing sales figures-Monthly report and meetings
- Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Reports to the reporting head on daily, weekly and monthly
- Must act as a bridge between the company and its current market customers and potential customers
- Display efficiency in gathering market and customer info to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications to their managers
- Record sales and order information and report the same to the sales department
- Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to their respective employers
- Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
- Find out the competitors coming up with new products, get samples to PI departments
- Work in National and international market as the technical support staff of the company to introduce new products and demonstrate the same
- Attend customer complaints timely to rectify the issue and convince and retain the customer
- Assistance in preparation of brochures, leaflets and other marketing tools as well as updation of websites
- Putting together a list of target companies within the area
- Analysing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development
- Working to revenue targets and KPI's as set by the sales head
- Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build business
- Chasing sales leads from other members of the company
-Working closely with other territory sales manager's and national account managers
Putting together sales strategies to target large accounts
Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business
Sales and marketing related works as and when entrusted
Requirements:
- Graduation in Food Science/ similar. MBA (preferably good)
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Experience 5+ years in corporate sales (exposure to Flavour Industry will be added advantage)
