Area Sales Manager - FMCG (2-6 yrs)
Job Responsibilities :
- Sell companies- products by establishing contacts, leveraging on existing contact and developing relationships with prospects
- Creating a distributor network by identifying distributors and other business opportunities, negotiating and closing the deal.
- Ensuring proper documentation and statutory compliance
- Managing sales to the distributor and achieving sales targets directly and through the company's sales officers.
- Ensuring collections from the distributors as per the agreed terms
- Managing distributor's invoicing, sales, dispatch and collections through the companies and the distributors team sales.
- Monitoring distributors inventory both in terms of SKU's and age of inventory.
- Merchandising & display of companies- products for the entire area
- Collecting, analyzing, summarizing information and reports the same to, RM, H.O
- Analyzing and reporting competition activity on product pricing, offers, current trends and market dynamics
- Implementing sales promotions & marketing initiatives - effectively and efficiently
- Grooming and motivating the sales team to deliver targeted results by providing support, information and guidance.
- Identifying sales resources and preliminary screening
- Managing financial budgets and ensuring they are within limits
