Area Sales Manager - FMCG (2-5 yrs)
Responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets.
- Duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.
- Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with distributers and retailers.
- Put in place a strong foundation of reporting, process and structure
- Maintain key KPIs as directed on an ongoing basis
- Experience managing Modern Trade accounts (Big Bazaar, Spencers, More, etc.)
- Strong negotiator, with a love for selling and experience negotiating terms of trade with retail chains
- Advanced Communication skills, with a flair for building long term relationships
- Strong organizational skills, extremely accurate, detailed and process oriented and take responsibility for projects
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- Strong integrity and maturity to exercise confidentiality
- Ability to grow a team and provide leadership and mentoring as the organisation grows
- Understanding of the food and food retail sector a plus, but not a necessity
- Willingness to hustle and work in a nimble but fast paced young organisation
