Area Sales Manager - FMCG (2-4 yrs)
Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Job Objective: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth of products and services in the offline market within an assigned geographical area. This role involves leading a team of Business Development Executives/Associates/Distributors to achieve sales targets, enhance merchant acquisition, and ensure quality service delivery.
Role and Responsibilities:
Business Growth:
- Expand the merchant network by acquiring and retaining merchants.
- Ensure high-quality execution through audits and review mechanisms.
- Handle merchant presentations, manage escalations, and address concerns effectively.
- Monitor and report competition activities within the assigned territory.
- Achieve targets for acquisition, productivity, and market share growth.
- Optimize device placement to maximize asset utilization.
Infrastructure Management:
- Ensure proper management of collateral and devices to prevent loss or leakage.
Brand Visibility:
- Enhance brand visibility using organizational collaterals.
- Participate in promotional events, roadshows, and trade shows to strengthen customer relationships.
Data Management:
- Utilize data trackers to analyze and share actionable insights with the team.
Stakeholder Management:
- Recruit and engage distributors to maintain profitability.
- Ensure distributor adherence to company guidelines and processes.
- Drive awareness and readiness for new product launches.
People Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and train Business Development Executives/Associates.
- Monitor performance, coach team members, and ensure alignment with KPIs.
- Foster team engagement through communication of monthly schemes and incentives.
- Motivate and retain team members while ensuring execution rigor in the market.
Budget:
CTC: Up to 8 LPA.
Location:
Work Location: Work from Office.
Coverage Area: Pan India.
Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience managing sales teams (on-roll or off-roll).
- Background in Telecom, FMCG, or Retail (B2C) preferred.
- Proven track record in field sales performance and distributor management.
- Joining Preference:
Immediate Joiner preferred.
