Area Sales Manager - Chemical (7-15 yrs)
Our client is a leading chemical company with 2 manufacturing facilities in India. It is part of a large and diversified Business Group.
Job Description :
1. Achieving revenue and volume targets along with collection for business as usual and new business development
2. Increasing the business potential of existing customers.
3. Retaining existing customers. Providing competitor product information with samples to R&D for developing equivalent/better products.
5. Channel partner management.
6. Ensure timely collection of C-forms.
7. Preparing and sending visit reports to immediate superiors.
8. Ensuring sample collection as per schedule.
9. Scrutinizing the lab reports before sending to customers. Maintaining good CRM through timely delivery of reports.
10. Regular consolidation of marketing intelligence information and sending to HOD.
11. Participation in exhibitions and organising customer meets.
12. Effective region/branch administration including asset management.
13. Coordinating with Marketing for product specification.
14. Conducting monthly review/quarterly review meetings.
16. Scrutinising and approving special price request for order generation.
17. Responsible for approving sample request and vendor payment.
18. Adopting good practices from the market and defining standard format for implementing.
19. Liaising with government agencies for indirect taxation related matters.
20. Network with senior officials at customer end.
20. Monthly sales forecast from team.
21. Ensuring zero NCs in ISO Audits.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Candidate should be a B E./ B Tech in Mechanical or Metallurgy, with 7- 15 years experience in sale of industrial products, majorly B2B / Direct Clients.
Education :
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Metallurgy, Mechanical
PG: M.Tech - Metallurgy, Mechanical
