Area Sales Manager - Capital Goods/EPC (8-10 yrs)

POSITION : Area Sales Manager

DIVISION : International Business Group

LOCATION : Thailand

REPORTING TO : Regional Sales Manager

PREFERRED INDUSTRY : Capital goods industry / EPC sales and projects similar to ours

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Achieve order booking target ( value and no of orders as per ABP ) for the assigned territory and product lines

- Provide accurate order booking projections, lead and prospect reports to support business growth

- Provide strategic inputs for developing ABP and SBP for the assigned territory

- Generate and maximize cross sales opportunities

- Anchor enquiry management system from lead generation to order closure

- Develop OEMs, consultants and EPCs

- Assist business development and promotion strategy, Build case studies Customer testimonials

- Be a single point of contact for customers for multi-division product lines across multiple functions, viz. sales, service and supply chain

Provide inputs on :

- New product development

- Pricing

- Breaking into new market segments

- Change in Industry norms

- Win loss analysis

JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

Essential Qualification : BE (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical )

Desirable Qualification : MBA preferred

Experience : 8-10 years

Products to be handled : Multiple utilities products like- Boilers, Heaters, Absorption Chillers, Air Pollution Control Equipment, Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants, Steam Accessories, Spare Parts and Retrofits

Position type : Full Time

- Strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills

- Strong ability to work cross functionally across hierarchies in a highly matrix organization structure

- Passion to network, build relations with customer and improving sales

- Flair to build in-depth know-how of multiple products

- Contracting and negotiation skills, strong commercial acumen

- Proficient in English language - written and verbal

- Ability to work with a multi-cultural team

- Candidate should be ready to travel extensively

EXPERIENCE/ EXPOSURE :

Pre-requisites :

- Sales/ service experience in a light to heavy engineering company/ capital goods industry, across at least two business units; Preferably Boiler and Water Treatment Plants

- Experience in multiple international locations preferred
