Area Sales Manager - Business Loan (2-6 yrs)

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to join our Business Loan Sales team. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales of business loans in their assigned territory, managing field sales teams, and building strong relationships with potential business clients. This role requires a highly motivated individual with at least 2 years of experience in business loan sales, a deep understanding of the financial products, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales Target Achievement: Drive and achieve business loan sales targets in the assigned geographical area by promoting the company's loan products to new and existing customers.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Build and maintain long-term relationships with business clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

3. Field Sales Management: Conduct on-field sales activities, meeting potential clients, understanding their business requirements, and offering suitable loan products.

4. Market Research & Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify potential opportunities and risks. Provide market intelligence to the management team.

5. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales executives or agents to achieve business loan sales goals, providing guidance and training when needed.

6. Loan Application Process: Assist clients in the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Work closely with credit and underwriting teams to facilitate loan approval.

7. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service throughout the loan process, addressing any concerns or queries and ensuring a smooth experience for the clients.

8. Reporting: Provide regular sales reports, performance analysis, and market feedback to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies :

1. Sales Expertise: Proven experience in business loan sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

2. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with business clients and close deals effectively.

3. Client Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and long-lasting relationships with clients.

4. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a sales team while managing multiple priorities.

Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of business loan products, eligibility criteria, and documentation processes.

5. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze business needs, financial situations, and recommend appropriate loan solutions.

6. Problem-solving: Ability to resolve customer issues and concerns efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Education: Graduation in any field is mandatory.

2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business loan sales or similar financial products.

3. Skills: Strong field sales experience, excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

4. Other Requirements: Must be comfortable with extensive travel within the assigned area.

5. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and regional language(s) will be an added advantage.
