Area Sales Manager - Bancassurance Channel - Direct Acquisitions Team - Insurance (5-10 yrs)

Job Description: -

- Our client is looking for a dynamic person, who has at least 10 yrs. of experience in running the Direct Sales team in retails Life or Health Insurance sales for under Direct Sales team in Bancassurance Vertical of a Leading and Fast-Growing Bank.

- Under this vertical team must acquire New Customer for the Bank by selling the Life, Health, Motor & General Insurance Product of Leading Insurance Companies form the open market.

- This opening is for the position of Area Manager based out at Delhi & Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Hiring, Training & Managing a team of 10 - 12 Insurance Relationship Managers on the roles of Bank

- Organize onsite sales activity or Lead Generation activity to maximize sales funnel & productivity of the team and achieve sales targets.

- Lead and inspire the sales team by provide in-the-field support to direct reports by joining them on Joint calls and providing coaching and feedback based on performance.

- Responsible for capacity building for cross sell and up sell of products based on the life cycle needs of the customers.

- Monitor sales indicators and put all effort to drive the result.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree (preferred).

- Min. 6 to 10 years exp. In Direct Sales Team Management in Insurance sales

Functional Competencies

- Hands on Experience in MS Excel, PPT and Words

- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

- Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.

Behavioural Competencies

- Able to thrive and prioritize in a constantly changing environment.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-pace agile team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards; does not require close supervision.

- Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients and business representatives.
