Area Sales Manager - B2C Vertical - Consumer Lighting (5-10 yrs)
Client profile : Our client is a reputed Rs. 8,500 Crores Turnover FMCG client based in India.
Job Title : Area Sales Manager - Consumer Lighting (B2C)
Job Purpose :
- The position is responsible for the managing and driving sales through dedicated team and distribution channels for all geographies related to the specific branch by focusing on the activities below.
Responsibilities :
1. Driving sales through distributors and direct dealers
2. Growing business through market expansion
3. Driving new product launches
4. Ensure distribution coverage to all critical towns, take necessary corrective actions to increase coverage through distributors/dealers and addition of retail outlets in existing and gap towns
5. Managing & reviewing a set of dedicated team & ensuring implementation of action plans through them to improve performance in respective zones
6. Regular inventory & stock planning with supply chain managers
7. Design and propose the Local Sales promotions schemes and track their usage
8. Taking process improvement initiatives around sales process, distribution and branch operations
9. Ensure timely closure of complaint handling
10. MIS reporting, tracking of expenses and ensure timely settlement of claims
Skills/Qualifications :
1. 100% B2C Role (Lighting or FMCG Retails B2C Segment)
2. Field Work Experience
3. Distribution Salesman management
4. Territory Management and Selling skills
Experience : 5+ years, 3 years as Area Sales Manager
Work location : Hubli, Karnataka
CTC : Max 25 Lakhs
