Job Title : Area Sales Manager - Agency Insurance

Job Purpose :

- The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving the sales and distribution of insurance policies through a network of agencies across a designated region.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement strategies to meet sales and revenue targets for the chosen region.

- Lead, manage, and encourage a team of agents and agency managers to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Identify potential markets and development sectors and devise strategies for tapping into them.

- Develop and maintain solid working relationships with important stakeholders such as agents, customers, and partners.

- Assure that all corporate rules and processes, as well as regulatory obligations, are followed.

- Provide top management with regular reports and analysis on sales performance and market trends.

- Organize frequent training and development sessions for agents and agency managers to help them enhance their product knowledge, selling abilities, and customer service.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional programmes and events that will increase sales and revenue.

Qualifications and Experience :

- A bachelor's degree in any field.

- At least 3 years of relevant field sales and marketing experience.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.

- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and leading a team.

- Understanding of insurance products, laws, and industry developments.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to operate both individually and in a collaborative setting.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Fluent in both the chosen region's native tongue and English.

- Willingness to travel significantly within the defined geographic area.
