Area Sales Executive - Mens Grooming Business (2-5 yrs)
- Our client is a New Delhi based D2C mens grooming company whose portfolio includes shampoo, face wash, beard oil, hair oil, among others. These products are made from world-class ingredients without any harmful chemicals such as sulphates and parabens.
- Founded in 2005 by MICA, Ahmedabad alumni, it has raised a total funding of $10.8M from tier one investors like infoedge etc.
- It currently has more than 15,000 outlets across the country in traditional general trade as well as regional modern trade. It is also present in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Middle East and USA.
- As a Area Sales Executive, you will be responsible for handling distributors, managing existing distributor relationships and establishing new ones to expand the company's product reach.
What you need to do :
- Handling distributor relationships to maximize sales and profitability
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales volume and market share
- Identifying new distribution channels and establishing relationships with new distributors
- Managing existing distributor relationships to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets
- Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Conducting product launch activities and ensuring their success
- Ensuring all sales reports are accurate and up to date
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop new marketing strategies
- Training and mentoring junior sales team members
- Coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely product delivery to distributors
- Achieving sales targets and meeting company objectives
What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role
- Primary and secondary sales knowledge
- Experience in distributor handling, team handling and product launch activities
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel for reports
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
