Area Sales Executive - Lubricants (2-3 yrs)
Job Description :
- Responsible for Sales through other channels viz., Reliance/OEMs/ Transporters/ Workshops/ Moto zone in assigned area.
- Achieve volume of 150-200 tons per annum.
- Manage a network of 50-60 Reliance dealers, 30-40 OEM franchisee workshops, 5-10 motozones.
- Manage trade account receivables.
ACTIVITIES :
- Achieve volume objectives set by the Manager-Market Support
- Execute the sales strategy as per directives of MSM in the assigned area.
- Liase with Reliance outlets/officers and conduct activities for promoting our products.
- Liase with OEM dealers/ offices and conduct activity for promoting sales.
- Locate high potential areas for creation of moto zones
- Identify potential workshops for tying up as commercial accounts
- Identify potential workshops for tying up on equipment on loan schemes
- Ensure collection of receivables in accordance with credit policy. In case of defaults, outstandings are collected as quickly as possible through appropriate timely actions.
- Report up-to-date information on competition and environment to superior at least on monthly basis.
- Ensure all aspects of the company's Health and Safety Policy are adhered to.
- Carry out any other duties that may be advised by MSM
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
After Market is a dynamic market place. Rapid/Periodic changes are observed in consumer behaviour. There is transition of lube sale between public sector retail outlets and bazaar trade. Economy, industrial production & agriculture directly affect demand. New automobile trends influence buying and usage patterns. Competition is in two forms - one from aggressively overbearing market leader and second low priced band of players including dominating PSUs. Good part of the company's primary network is loyal, while some part remains tentative. Secondary network is highly demanding. Diesel segment (Commercial and tractors) contributes 75% of market.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Ensure good relations & service levels to OEM/ Reliance dealers/ officials to develop sales and maintain these strategic alliances.
- Develop business through alternate channels & manage TAR.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
- BE - Mechanical, preferably a degree/diploma in marketing/business management
- 3-6years- of experience
