Area Sales Executive - FMCG (3-5 yrs)
Area Sales Executive - Driving Growth and Expansion (Maharashtra Domicile Mandatory)
- A highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Team Leader required. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious sales goals by leading, training, and motivating a team of 5 sales representatives.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, increasing outlet visibility, and identifying new channels for continuous organizational growth.
Responsibilities :
Team Leadership and Development :
- Recruit, hire, and onboard talented sales representatives.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that equip your team with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Coach and mentor individual team members to identify strengths, address weaknesses, and unlock their full potential.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, promoting open communication and continuous learning.
- Motivate and inspire your team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Revenue Growth and Strategy :
- Set clear, achievable, and measurable sales goals for the team and each individual member, aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies to maximize revenue generation and market share.
- Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Adapt sales strategies and tactics based on market conditions, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
Outlet Visibility and On-Ground Marketing :
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and product visibility across designated outlets.
- Oversee and manage on-ground marketing activities, such as promotional events, product demonstrations, and trade shows.
- Ensure effective product presentations and sales pitches that resonate with potential customers.
Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management :
- Proactively identify prospective customers within the assigned territory, leveraging market research and lead generation techniques.
- Develop and execute successful onboarding strategies for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and clients, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Budget Management and Reporting :
- Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Regularly create comprehensive sales reports that provide insights into team performance, sales pipeline, and market trends.
- Present reports and sales data effectively to the Area Sales Manager, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, customer relationship management (CRM), and sales pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a sales team to achieve their full potential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Budget management experience and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
