Area Sales Executive - FMCG (2-8 yrs)
Essence of Role - Key Account-abilities-
1-Defining the beat plan for every sales representative
2- Primary and secondary sales as per the budget
3- Being abreast (along side) of competition and actively reporting the same
4- Plan the new product launch and ensure qualitative distribution
Market analysis
5- Effective utilization of secondary budgets and timely submission of claims
6- Effective reporting as required
7- Effective implementation of sales promotion activities
Identifying and Monitoring
Distributors-
1- Managing the distributor. Evaluation of distributors
2- Stock management at distributor level
3- Own the loyalty programs ( not to let go of distributor)
4- Relationship building in key outlets
Monitoring-
A- Coaching, guiding and motivating the sales representative & ownership of
team performance
B- Managing consumer complaint
People Management-
1- Review for self and team
2- Hire, train and appraise sales staff in line with company policy
3- Recruiting and replacement of Sales Representatives, managing attrition
Functional Skills Required-
Understanding of FMCG categories (Personal Care)
- Sales Management, Planning and Operational Skills
- Merchandising Skills - both paid and unpaid visibility
- Fluency in English and local language would be preferred. .
- Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email writing.
- Qualitative and Quantitative Problem Solving Skills
