Job Title : Area Sales Executive
Reporting to : Regional Manager

Job Location : Pune
The Area Sales Executive is responsible for the one of the key verticals of channel management, Chemist channel. Key responsibilities include customer activations, budget management for trade scheme and evaluating & implementing strategies for business growth for the region
Main Accountabilities :
Planning :
- Sales Planning : Lead sales planning for the identified sub-channels based on S&OP forecast and ensure month on month cascade of the sales annual phasing. Ensure driving of focus SKU's through planning
- New Product Launch : Track the launch plan vs actual achievements and do offtake tracking for all the new launches. Align all stakeholders to ensure that the launch plan is customized at micro-level
- Planning for MSL compliance, productivity metrics, sub-cluster analysis for chemist channel.
- AC Nielsen and Market share Interventions: Liase with HO teams to Plan and implement special initiatives to drive market share growth using key SKU's/ focus packs in the select sub-channels. Track such activities regularly via reports and take corrective actions
- S&OP Planning: Closely partner with field force to ensure that bottom-up S&OP forecast is baked into the overall plan led by Supply Chain.
- Collaboration with HO S&CM team and marketing team for Category deliverables in top stores.
Commercial :
- Manage and monitor top store TTC at monthly level and ensure that budgets are adhered to
Field Management :
- Planning and tracking PJP's for chemist stores.
- Coordinate with the teams to ensure the sub-channel delivery. Ensure that MSL SKUs are driven as per plan
Others :
- Review preparations: Prepare presentations and other review material for the channel at a monthly and quarterly level. Share insights of the actions taken, results and future plans with the local and global stakeholders
- ABP/SRM/Fast start preparation for top stores
- MIS Management: Manage the data on indirect channel sales and lead decision making based on sales data
